SISAB or the Society of Indian Scientists Abroad is the first Cyberspace community of Indian Scientists who have got together for the dissemination and exchange of medical knowledge through the medium of Internet. In the initial phase SISAB will work for  Specialists in Reproductive Medicine & Paramedical Staff affiliated to ART. Physicians settled around the globe including India who qualify for membership can be from any of the above groups & would be eligible for all the perks & services offered by SISAB once they complete an on-line registration form which will automatically include them into the SISAB Membership Directory.

The Online Membership Directory will give complete contact details & affiliations of the SISAB members & the database will be fully searchable online for friends or colleagues that you might have lost touch with many years ago.

The Conference-Matcher will be one of the most important medical services to the community that SISAB will offer. All the Non-Resident Indians travel back home once every 1-2-3 years & if an NRI doctor puts up his vacation dates onto our Conference-Matcher area, we will match an OB-GYN conference taking place somewhere in India & can suggest the Local Organising Committee to include that particular doctor as Faculty. This will help both the Local Organising Committees to save on the travel of International Faculty & will give a wonderful exposure to NRI Specialists to educate their colleagues back-home with tax planning for their travel home. For the non-professorial NRIs, we can inform them about similar conferences that are matching their travel schedules. We request all FOGSI Member Societies to send us a list of all future meetings & congresses they are planning in the year to come for listing in the Conference Matcher Area. SISAB will inform the respective society immediately on receipt of a Conference-Matcher Application.

We have linked up with four of the world's leading Free Medline Service providers online for the SISAB fraternity.

There will be a local on-site search engine for searching any topic or any individual on the SISAB Homepage.

We welcome any suggestions and ideas for the improvement of services offered at SISAB.
